Packing tips
- Keep samples in their original, sealed packaging when you can. This matters most for microbiology.
- Label every container with the same sample name used on your submission form.
- Use padding and a sturdy box; seal liquids in a leak-proof bag.
- Ship perishable or temperature-sensitive samples with cold packs, early in the week so they do not sit over a weekend.
- Include the completed submission form inside the box.
