Pesticide residues
Botanicals and hemp are grown around the world under very different rules. A multi-residue screen looks for hundreds of pesticides in one run, using sample cleanup followed by liquid chromatography and gas chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS). Results are reported for every compound in the panel, with detections compared against the limits you supply.
Residual solvents
Extracts and concentrates are made with solvents such as ethanol, butane, propane, hexane or acetone. Headspace gas chromatography (HS-GC) measures what is left in the finished material, which matters for both safety and compliance with extract specifications.
Mycotoxins
Molds that grow on crops during harvest or storage can produce toxins that survive processing. We test for the aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2) and ochratoxin A, the mycotoxins most often named in supplement, food and hemp specifications.
| Panel | Common matrices | Technique |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-residue pesticides | Botanicals, hemp flower and extracts, teas, powders | LC-MS/MS · GC-MS/MS |
| Residual solvents | Hemp and botanical extracts, oils, concentrates | HS-GC-MS / FID |
| Mycotoxins | Grains, nuts, spices, botanicals, hemp | LC-MS/MS |
What you receive
A Certificate of Analysis listing each compound tested, the result or a "below limit of quantitation" entry, and the limit applied.
Turnaround and pricing
Turnaround depends on the test, the number of samples and the time of year. Standard and rush options are quoted per project. PENDING: turnaround times + pricing
